Soaring harmonies! Tight acoustic rock! Latin rhythms! The Sepulveda Sound Machine has been bringing their unique take on soul, pop and rock music to the Culver City area and beyond since 2022! The core group was formed to entertain neighborhood block parties with the gradual reopening of public space events following the Covid-19 shutdown of live entertainment. The band specializes in entertaining and uplifting audiences with a positive spirit and feelgood vibe!
Now a hard-hitting five piece unit, the band of all Culver City residents features Brian and Reshma on lead vocals. The multi-talented Len triples on vocals, mandolin and flute as well. Rounding out the Sepulveda sound is the rhythm section of Mie on latin percussion and vocals, and Wayne on acoustic guitar and vocals.
In addition to rocking the house, the Sepulveda Sound Machine has dedicated sets for special events like Halloween and July 4th. For the last several years Sunkist Park residents have been entertained by the sounds of the Sepulveda Sound Machine literally "taking it to the streets" for Holiday caroling, inviting neighbors to join them in a high-spirited block walking sing-along of seasonal songs from all cultures and faiths.
